Lately, I've found myself drowning in school fantasies. So, about a week ago, I asked Esquire if we could do a school roleplay. We talked a little bit about how I might want it to go, but as I have a pathological aversion to talking about spanking out loud, I pretty much got as far as, "I want to do real assignments." I thought he might have forgotten about it, but yesterday morning he came out of bedroom in his dress clothes. "Why aren't you ready for school?" he scolded. "It's way past time for you to be dressed, young lady!" He sent me to take a shower. I picked a gray A-line tweed skirt and white blouse to wear, with black flats, and I put in some cat-shaped stud earrings for a little playfulness. When I went back out, Esquire had placed my notebook and a pencil on our dining room table. "It's time for a pop quiz," he said seriously. "I hope you studied." I had not studied! It was a hard quiz, and he made tutting noises as he corrected it. When he finished, he told me to stand up and bend over the table. I did, and he put the paper in front of me. He flipped up my skirt and caned me as I read out each correction. And then he sat me back down and told me there was another quiz. He repeated both the tutting and the caning, except he gave me two for every wrong answer. Finally, I had to write an essay on Dictyostelium discoideum (for "science class"), sitting on my caned backside. I've always found roleplay a little bit silly, and it honestly was a little awkward at times--but it wasn't as weird as I thought it would be! I quite enjoyed playing out my school fantasy, and I'm looking forward to trying it again. Maybe it will get less awkward as we practice!

After work today, I slogged through my commute of five steps to my bed and started doing some writing.(Okay, I was really watching YouTube videos.) Esquire came in and started making the bed. "Help me with this," he said. "I'm in the bed," I replied. "And I want to make the bed." "Okay," I said, very reasonably. "How about you make your side, and when I'm done, I'll make mine?" "Nope. Get out and help." "I am IN THE BED," I argued, still very reasonably. "I want to continue being IN THE BED." He did not like the rational case I made. I ended up over the bed instead of in it. He just used his hand, but in the end, I got up and made the bed. Joke's on him, though, because I am back in the bed and now it's quite rumpled.
