Have you ever had a spanking go wildly wrong? What happened?
you both should have spanked each other
I'll go first! Maybe others will join in?
One that comes to mind actually didn't go wrong in a funny way at all. When we moved to a new apartment about a year ago, we divvyed up the chores in a new way. One of my new responsibilities was (and still is) scooping the litter box. I don't mind doing this at all, but I have a terrible memory. I asked Esquire to help me remember by reminding me if I forgot, and he agreed.
A few days later and after a couple reminders, he noticed one evening that I hadn't scooped the litter box. He decided he was going to spank me for it, but I did not agree. I threw a giant fit about it as he tried to bend me over the bed, because I felt like he wasn't listening to me. I maintain that it did not warrant a spanking because he had agreed to remind me about it, and he never said that he was going to quit reminding me and start punishing me for it instead. He said that he'd given me enough reminders.
We got into a huge fight about it, and he actually stopped spanking me for several months because, he said, I was giving him such mixed signals: I want him to spank me but I got so angry over this one. I felt like the facts were pretty clear: this one was unfair because he did not communicate that the rules were changing. In fact, we're still repairing the spanking part of our relationship from this, although we've made a lot of progress. I don't think we'll ever agree on who was right, though. Maybe I should have just sucked it up for the sake of harmony and let him make the final decision on this?
What do you think?
